Victor and I collaborated early in the global pandemic. As the founder of two then-fledgling organizations, Victor jumped at the opportunity to explain what Local in PTY and Local in PTY Kids are all about.
In the piece “In This Period Of Global Uncertainty, One Volunteer Steps Up To Support Local Children In Panama” the focus was mostly on the work Victor is doing in Panama for local children. Like kids all over the world, the children Victor works with were severely impacted by the pandemic. Victor decided to expand his tours-based company Local in PTY so he could pool together volunteers who all wanted to help. Over a year and a half later, both orgaizations continue to thrive.
